The Official Podcast of The Kuumba Singers from The Kuumba Singers of Harvard College

This is the official podcast of the Kuumba Singers of Harvard College. The group was founded in 1970 by African-American undergraduates who felt the need for a safe space at Harvard in which they could celebrate African-American creativity and spirituality. Under the direction of Mr. Sheldon K. X. Reid, the Kuumba Singers continues to explore and share the rich musical tradition of black culture through African folk songs, Negro spirituals, traditional and contemporary gospel, master choral works, and original compositions.
